FAQ
The questions everyone secretly wants to ask.
Who do you work with?
Adolescents, teens, and young women (roughly 12 – 35) living in Virginia or Washington, DC. Many of my clients are high-achieving, over-thinking, and quietly burnt out.
Are sessions in person or online?
Everything is 100% virtual over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can meet me from wherever you feel most yourself.
Do you take insurance?
I'm a private-pay practice, which lets me keep sessions confidential and flexible. I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
How much are sessions?
Individual 45–50 minute sessions are $215. Extended 75-minute sessions are $335. Consultations are free.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee, unless it's due to an unexpected emergency. If there's any way to reschedule instead, I'll always try to make that work first.
What if I've never done therapy before?
That's completely okay, and honestly, most people feel a little unsure at first. You don't need a diagnosis, a crisis, or the 'right' words to start. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for something to change, that's a really good place to begin.
What's a religious trauma specialty, exactly?
It means we can talk openly about the beliefs, communities, and rules you grew up in, how they've shaped you, what still fits, and what doesn't, without judgment either direction.
